An experiment was conducted on 20 Crossbred (Alpine x Beetal) young male bucks to study the effect ofsocial facilitation on different seminal attributes, sexual behaviour, other typical pre-coital sexual expressionand also correlation between various seminal attributes and sexual behaviour among two groups ofanimals. In respect to the semen quality, all the seminal characteristics of social facilitation group werebetter than the control animals. But the difference was not statistically significant. Similarly, the mean ofdifferent sexual behaviour of social facilitation group animals was also higher than the control group, butwas not significant except erection and libido score. Presence of various pre-coital expressions wasobserved and was found that better sign was exhibited in social facilitated group animals. Higher andsignificant correlation coefficient between seminal attributes and sexual behaviour was noticed in socialfacilitated group animals rather than the control group animals. Hence, social facilitation should be givenbefore collection of semen not only for better semen production but also to keep the bucks sexually activefor a longer period.
