There has been an increasing interest in develop;ng effective methods for structural damage detection and health monitoring. One trend has been to apply the wavelet transform to analyze and interpret damage detection signals. This paper presents some new results pertaining to the detection of cracklike damage using spatial measurements and wavelet analysis. [References: 7]
