State Saudi Aramco and US Dow Chemical have officially announced the long-awaited move of their proposed giant petrochemical complex to the Saudi industrial city of Jubail, although the consequent changes mean completion of front-end engineering and design (Feed) will be pushed back by almost a year again (IOD May24,p1). “Saudi Aramco and Dow confirm that they have decided on Jubail Industrial City as the planned site location for the project,” Aramco said in a statement Tuesday.
