Subsea systems on Norway's Snohvit gas and condensate field have been started up ready for first production later this year.The start-up of the Snohvit subsea systems was completed over the weekend, operator Statoil has said, signalling that the field is nearing first production later this year, and marking a milestone as the first field offshore Norway to be remotely operated from shore, at a cost of US 1.33 Bn.
