The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) filed a legal brief with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia on August 20 explaining why earlier this year it denied to reduce the volume of cellulosic biofuels that must be blended in the nation's gasoline pool despite being petitioned to do so by the petroleum industry.
