Eighty four years ago a group of keen turf enthusiasts formed a company with two goals in mind:1. To produce great sports surfaces. 2. To understand the best way to manage these. These goals have never changed for STRI (Sports Turf Research Institute) across the last nine decades and remain the key focus for our teams. Achieving these goals, however, continues to be a challenge for us as sports and players evolve and demand faster, smoother, longer lasting and better looking surfaces.
