Students now have the option of pursuing their engineering studies at York University in Toronto.Starting in fall 2001, York's Faculty of Pure and Applied Science will offer an honours engineering degree program at the undergraduate level. "We are pleased with the outcome," says Robert Prince, P.Eng., the dean of the faculty, adding that the plan has been in the works for more than 10 years, and his colleagues have been working hard to develop a curriculum that is both innovative and satisfies requirements for accreditation by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board.
