摘要

The Yorkshire database contains 2,156 aculeate records of 176 species from urban York made by 25 recorders at 32 sites. Currently urban York has 169 recorded aculeate species which represents about 50% of the current Yorkshire list. A further single species is restricted to artificial warm buildings, three species are vagrant and three bumblebees have become extinct. The 'Green Spaces' consist of fen woodland, unimproved pastures, winter-flooded meadows, parks and gardens, former waste areas and small sites surrounded by residential housing. Currently there are twelve Yorkshire species rare and two rare and eight scarce national species recorded.
