摘要

During 1999 and 2000, several fungal pathogens were isolated from clonal-cutting nurseries in North Bengal, India. Koch's postulates were performed with the pathogens isolated. Among the pathogens, Curvularia eragrostidis [Cochliobolus eragrostidis], isolated from young leaves of tea, is being reported for the first time. The pathogen was studied microscopically and the pathogenicity of the organism was determined on 24 varieties of tea plants collected from different parts of India. Tocklai variety-12 and Tocklai variety-25 were the most susceptible and resistant, respectively.
