摘要

Two new species of the genus Miscophus Jurine. 1807, M johni sp. n. and M. percitus sp. n., are described from the Middle Volga Area (Nizhni Novgorod Prov.). Males of M. johni sp. n. were previously identified by N.F. de Andrade (1960) as M. albufeirae Andrade, 1952. An examination of the females has shown that these belong to a new species. On the basis of the material collected by the author in Nizhni Novgorod Province, two new species are described in a very complex and poorly studied (in regard of taxonomy) genus, Miscophus Jurine, 1807. In addition, the material on closely related species from Middle Asia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Burya-tiya, deposited in the Zoological Museum, Moscow State University [ZMMU], was examined. The type specimens of new species are deposited in ZMMU; in the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Science, St. Petersburg, [ZIN]; and in the author's collections.
