Although primarily focused on the processed fruit industry, Danish berry specialist Berrifine says increased demand for traceable products could see it sell more on the fresh market. Danish soft fruit company Berrifine, already a major supplier of frozen and processed fruit-based products to industrial clients worldwide, says it has seen a major increase in demand for traceability over the past few years. As a result, the group intends to work with growers and help them to meet such demand, with thepossibility of selling an increased volume of product on the fresh market.
