After enjoying a year of smooth runnings where figures were concerned, the UK body care market appeared to stumble upon rougher territory in 2012/2013. The overall body care category, which includes moisturising creams, lotions, oils and scrubs, but excludes shower products, slipped down 2% from ￡378.018m to ￡370.625m, although volume did buff up 1.5% to 22.790m litres.
