摘要

Tropical rainforest is the richest terrestrial habitat in terms of biodiversity (Mittermeir et al. 1998). It is generally difficult to access and therefore its great bio-diversity is poorly known. Arthropods from French Guianese rainforests, and especially spiders, are typical with their last large taxonomical study published almost 60 years ago (Caporiacco 1954).Therefore, mvestigating spiders from French Guiana can be interesting both for discovering many spider species new to science and also for understanding distribution and ecology of the spider communities of the Guianese shield.
