Lipoma of the colon is a relatively uncommon finding that usually is clinically inconsequential. However, the colonic lipoma can occasionally cause symptoms, including bleeding and obstruction. There are few published series regarding the endoscopic removal of colonic lipomas. This report describes 3 patients with symptoms attributable to large colonic lipomas that were removed endoscopically with assistance of the nylon endoloop.
