摘要

Nakazawa et al provide a useful addition to the current literature with this article. They took the approach that autoimmune pancreatitis may represent a multiorgan disease, as opposed to a primary disease, and they proposed expanding the 2002 Japanese Pancreatic Society diagnostic criteria to include a broader spectrum of disease. The current study contains one of the larger libraries of radiographic images of autoimmune pancreatitis in the literature to date. Those images, as well as the descriptions provided by Nakazawa et ali7 will serve as an aid to clinicians who are attempting to become familiar with the entity that we currently call autoimmune pancreatitis.
