摘要

Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua (GCC) of Mexico hopes to grow its sales to 620m US dollars in 2007 when its two big acquisitions in the US in 2006 have offered up a full consolidated year of results. Manuel A. Milan Reyes, general director of Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, has explained that the firm's cash-flow will have paid off the debt incurred for one of the acquisitions (which totalled 27lm US dollars) in 26 months. GCC has bought 100 percent of both the Hardesty Company and Alliance Transportation, known jointly as Mid-Continent Concrete Company (MidCo) and based in Oklahoma. They both produce pre-mixed concrete as do the four firms acquired back in January 2006 in South Dakota and Minnesota.
