The foundation of any successful integrated aquaculture company is the reliable production of healthy postlarvae. Modern hatcheries efficiently produce millions of post-larvae under biosecure conditions to meet the changing needs of farms. Methodicalbreeding selection of the offspring from carefully managed broodstock can lead to improved disease resistance and higher growth rates.
