A guarantee of quality should prevent consumers becoming dissatisfied with flowers because they fail to live up to expectation. Flowers which last well in the vase and bring joy for longer should help repeat sales and give consumers confidence that they have made the right choice in a competitive gift market. The quality of a bunch of flowers is never certain and not often guaranteed. The risk is that the final consumer is dissatisfied. The Florence Quality Group took the initiative to develop a management tool with HortiSolutions in order to reduce quality loss in the chain and to make quality recognisable and manageable.
