摘要

This simple technique for maintaining crab hyaline haemocytes in monolayer culture for up to 14 days is based on L15 medium supplemented with 0.4M NaCl, 10% fetal calf serum and antibiotics. Viability of separated hyaline cells was 90% after 2 days,greater than80% after 7 days andgreater than70% after 14 days. The cells retained defense mechanisms as measured by phagocytosis of Psychrobacter immobilis, over the 14 days of incubation.
