摘要

Ilex hainanensis (Aquifoliaceae) is distributed mainly in the southern region of the People's Republic of China. Its leaves are used as a traditional tea product, known as 'Shan-Lu-Cha'. This paper reports the isolation of four triterpenes (1-4), four triterpene saponins (5-8), three flavonoid glycosides (9-11) and a chromone glycoside (12) from leaves of I. hainanensis, collected from Guangxi Province in July 2006. Compound 8 was isolated as a new acetylated saponin, indicating its taxonomic importance. Compounds 2, 4-7 might also be useful taxonomic markers for the genus. Compound 12 is the first chromone isolated from Ilex.
