There are now more makes, models and configurations of five-axis machines on the market than ever before, and at lower prices. In fact, speaking to several vendors reveals that the difference in price between a five-axis machine and a similar three-axis machine ranges from as little as 10% to no more than 30%. This fact is helping to drive demand and to encourage the development of a plethora of different models and configurations, each offering their own benefits.
