MBR has been closely following the progress of the tender of the mega Turkish TANAP pipeline, a 1.2Mt, primarily 56" OD, pipeline with a range of wall thickness from 16-28mm travelling across Turkey as part of the new South Corridorgas pipeline project. After some weeks of delay, official tenders for the pipeline were awarded on theisth October. As was expected, Turkish mills have dominated the new contract winning tenders to supply around 80% of the pipeline using spiral (HSAW) linepipe for their orders.
