摘要

TANAP, a major part of the new South Corridor pipeline system, is understood to have just closed its tendering phase for linepipe supplies for the construction of the project. TANAP, TAP and the South Caucus extension all join together to form the new South Corridor gas pipeline being planned. We are unable to get exact confirmation on the linepipe details from TANAP itself, but MBR understands from talking to those involved in bidding, that the total tonnage of large-diameter linepipe required for the pipeline is around 1.2Mt, with the pipe being 56” OD and a wall thickness of between16 - 28mm. A part of the project also requires 36” OD linepipe at a 21mm wall thickness.
