The Closed-Die Forging Division Eumuco Hasenclever of SMS Eumuco GmbH invited customers to an open-house in Leverkusen recently. In the workshops four new forming units, new developments in the field of forging and automation technology as well as single elements were presented. The interest focussed on the demonstration of the clutch-type screw press SPKA 5000 and the screw press with direct drive SPE. Further innovations such as the recently developed double cross roll QW 850/2 was introduced to the international guests, mostly represented by longstanding customers of the company.
