A new service addresses the need for accuracy in small volume, high precision gears for high performance applications. A bespoke service for high precision helical/spur gears in diameters up to 350mm and 160mm gear face width rests on the DIN 2 capabilities of Holroyd's new Smart GTG2 gear grinder. The service meets the market need for ever-increasing accuracy of low volume, precision gears in aerospace and high performance automotive applications, and industrial optics.
