The Executive Committee of the Industrial Minerals Division (IndMD) met Feb. 27, 2005 at the Marriott Hotel in Salt Lake City, UT. The meeting was called to order by Robert Pruett at 9 a.m. Those present included Marc Herpfer, Srinivas Veeramasuneni, Roger Austin, Jessica Kogel, Todd Harris, Kathy Littleton, Steve Heron, Nikhil Trivedi, Aldo Barsotti, Bill Langer, David Holmes, Brett Wissel, Fred Heivilin, James Norman, Gary Tomaino and Brij Moudgil. The Executive Committee observed a moment of silence to respect the death of Frank Alsobrook at last year's meeting. His years of service and dedication to SME and the division were noted. The name of the distinguished service award has been changed to the A. Frank Alsobrook Distinguished Service Award.
