Mountain Province Diamonds has retracted a study on the economic viability of its Gahcho Kue diamond project in Canada's Northwest Territories at the request of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC). The company warned share holders not to rely on a 2005 study into the project's economics. It said the OSC had asked it to file a for mal technical report detailing the project's viability. Its thinly traded shares were down 24 cents, or 5.63 percent, at 4.02 dollars.
