Updated conditions have been agreed by Leicestershire County Council for Ibstock Brick's quarry near Coalville in accordance with the provisions of the mineral review procedure. Permission was first granted for clay working at the site in 1947 and an application to consolidate several further permissions granted between 1951 and 1968 was approved in 1998.The company submitted a schedule of 59 new conditions seeking mainly to continue the quarry as it currently operated.
