摘要

Epitope tagging is a valuable tool for quick detection,isolation,andanaysis of protein-proteininteraction,without prior knowledge of the target protein.The FLAG epitope tag,oe of the most widely sued tags,is an eight aminoacid peptide that can be detected by anti-FLAG monoclonalantibody.In the presentstudy,we have examined the detection sensitivity of a protein fused to three tandem FLAG epitopes by Western blot analysis,immunoprecipitation,and immunohistocheical analysis using anti-FLAG M2 antibody.We find that the tripel FLAG epitope significantly enhantly enahnces thesensitivity of fetection of fusion protein expressed in ammmalian cells.
