A simulation method to reproduce the aerodynamic effects generated from moving automobiles,namely 'Vehicle Canopy Model', was developed. Furthermore, wind tunnel measurements of flowover a group of car models and the drag forces caused by the cars were conducted under variousdensities of the car models. By comparing the results of CFD predictions of the developed'Vehicle Canopy Model' with experimental data, the accuracy of the developed model was thenexamined.
