It was a sad moment when our big black Jeep rolled into the Artarmon service department for the last time. While our garage sees plenty of machinery flit in and out week-to-week, SRT64L was always there, like a faithful pet - always ready to transport people across distances both long and short. Of everyone at Chez MOTOR, Road Test Ed Curt Dupriez and I spent the most time with the big brawler. Our commutes couldn't be more different - Curt's is a slow 7km peak hour crawl up Sydney's infamous Victoria Road, while mine is 90km on freeways, B-roads and the Pacific Highway - but we both loved the Jeep's ability to get us through the maddening hell that is Sydney traffic.
