摘要

North Canterbury's Button Logging. Back in the early igoos, David Button's great-great-grandfather introduced one of the first steam-powered circular saw mills into Canterbury and used it to mill native logs in Peel Forest. And like his great-great-grandfather before him, David Button recognises the importance of good machinery. Today, Button Logging has built up to a mechanised harvesting business with around 3 million dollar worth of equipment. One of Button's mottos is "if it's not worth doing with new gear, it's not worth doing".
