摘要

Most agrichemical labels and product listings in this Manual carry information on compatibility. This lets users know what products can or cannot be mixed safely with the product in question. Many agrichemicals cannot be mixed with highly alkaline agrichemicals like lime sulphur or Bordeaux. Many others cannot be mixed with copper compounds. Some products are best applied alone. While information on these possible mixes is normally included on the label, there are usually only cautious statements about other mixes. This is because of the large number of possible product mixes and because of the effects formulation changes — which sometimes are made without notice — can have on the compatibility of mixtures. No labels provide for mixtures of threeor more products, even though these are sometimes applied by users who are running a race with the weather. Normallythe product warranty is invalidated ifyoumixan agrichemical with something which is not recommended on the label. Before applying a mixture of agrichemicals, two aspects should be considered - physical and biological compatibility.
