STUDY OF MULTICHANNEL THEORY FOR THE NEUTRON INDUCED FISSIONS OF ACTINIDE NUCLEI

摘要

Low energy neutron induced fissions of actinide nuclei are studied with multichannel and random neck rupture fission model. A method for determining parameters of prescission shapes of the fissioning nuclei is presented. The fragment properties of the neutron induced fissions of Th-232, U-233, U-235, U-238, Np-237, Pu-239, (PU)-P-240, Pu-241 and Pu-242 are investigated, covering the incident neutron energy range from 0 to 6 MeV. The dependence of the channel probability on the incident neutron energy is determined. Theoretical results are in accord with the experimental data. [References: 28]
