Nine years ago in Africa I saw a leopard draped over a tree branch. I was lucky; many go on safari and never catch a glimpse of one. It had stunning markings, an elegant body and a superior air. Its sheer presence captivated me and I have dreamed of going back ever since. The eight-person party I joined for my return visit included two close friends from Johannesburg who often head "bush". Our destination was the Mashatu Game Reserve in Northern Tuli, Botswana, tucked into the corner between Zimbabweand South Africa.
