Global asthma/chronie obstructive pulmonary disease sales should grow to more than Dollar 30 billion by 2012 and remain flat thereafter, according to experts at Datamonitor (datamonitor. com). These experts say the growth will be powered by the expansion of sales in existing treatment classes, the launch of major new products with safety and convenience advantages, and the results of several landmark studies.
