As of this year Germany's Hammerling Group has exclusively offered treads from Indian manufacturer General Rubbers as part of its product range. According to Ralf Hammerling, the company has initially obtained distribution rights for the "Midas Mileage" brand in the German, Austrian, Serbian and Dutch markets. "Once these markets are established, we can talk about further markets," Hammerling comments. During the course of the year the company wants to import around 1,500 tonnes of material from India for its own precure retreading.
