Since the middle of the 19th century the site of Puy d'Issolud (Lot) is usually supposed to represent the oppidum of Uxellodunum where happened, in 51 B.C., the last main fight of the Gallic War; many campaigns of diggings let to excavate a very large quantity of archaeological implements ; noticely more than 630 arrow heads and arrows of catapult, with various shapes, have been already found. Till now only typological characteristics have been gathered. No microstructural investigation was made for this category of weapon; this paper plans to develop this approach.
