There ain't nothin' like em nowhere. So what was I doing there, freshly flown in from the frozen-but-melting tundra of Wisconsin? Fulfilling another difficult and dangerous assignment, that's what. I'd been told, "We'd like you to take a new Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster on some of your favorite top-down roads in Southern California and report your impressions of the car."
