Dr. Kasilingam Rajkumar has been appointed the regular Director of Indian Rubber Manufacturers Research Association (IRMRA). The Director post of IRMRA was vacant since March 2014 and Dr Rajkumar has been holding the post in his temporary capacity. As a part of his R&D career, Dr Rajkumar has developed several critical products for the nuclear and defence sectors. His development of rubber gauntlet as a part of indigenization was widely appreciated and brought him a cash award from IRMRA.
