We proposed the use of phenomenological criteria of static strength of anisotropic materials to estimate their fatigue life on the basis of experimental studies of reinforced plastics in low-cycle loading. We constructed the low-cycle fatigue curves by using the dimensionless parameter of bending moment and analyzed the effect of curvature, variation of the cross-section wall thickness, internal pressure on fatigue life for curvilinear tubes made of the AG-4s glass-reinforced plastic. We proposed the engineering technique to determine fatigue life of curvilinear tubes made of reinforced plastics.
