We suggest a mathematical model, a numerical algorithm, and the computed discharge coefficients for the Venturi nozzles. We substantiate the possibility of applying the numerical calculations to determine the metrological characteristics in the flowmeters of a variable pressure differential with an admissible accuracy without resorting to experimental studies. A level of optimizing the performance of gas turbine units depends to a great extent on an accuracy of measuring their operating parameters. Reliability of measurements is determined, in its turn, by a quality of measuring techniques and validity of metrological characteristics of measurement instrumentation.
