Relevance of Cluster based industrial development for rubber sector; A cluster is a group of firms and related economic actors and institutions that are located near one another and that draw productive advantage from their mutual proximity and connections. Rubber Industry is characterized by preponderance of micro. small and medium enterprises. MSME sector faces different challenges which can be summarized as limited size and sc; outdated technology, inadequate access to credit, traditional marketing systems, inability to meet environmental compliam and poor infrastructure.
