摘要

On the basis of the grain-size,mineralogical,and chemical analyses of the bottom sediments sampled in 2001 and 2003 during the expeditions of R/V Ekolog (Institute for Water Problems of the North,Karelian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences,Petrozavodsk),the regularities of the distribution of chemical elements in the upper layer of the bottom sediments of the White Sea in the mixing zone of the Kem' River were studied.For some of the elements,the mobile and lithogenous forms were examined.The correlation analysis of the elements was carried out and their ratios to Al being the indicator of the terrigenous matter supply were calculated.It was found that the distribution of chemical elements such as Fe,Mn,Zn,Cr,Ti,and others in the bottom sediments is affected by natural factors,mainly by the grain-size composition of the sediments.The metals listed tend to be accumulated in fine-grained (clayey) sediments with increased C_(org) content.The distribution of Ni is different from the behavior of the above group of metals.It was supposed that this difference is caused by the effect of the anthropogenic factor.
