A desire to pack the best Gold product in the kiwifruit industry has led DMS at Te Puna to question everything they do from vine to tray. Slow and gentle the way to go, they say. Like many others in the industry they regard the 2006 season with its widespread and disastrous fruit loss as a watershed year — a timely wake-up call.
