Four different approaches have been taken and results will provide NZMC with a broader understanding of what works, or does not work, to improve productivity within each contracting business. The different approaches being taken are summarised in table 1. With each approach consultants have first spent time with the contractors to establish the current state of the business - the "baseline"'.
