SAMPE's 33~(rd) International Technical Conference was a great success, measured by attendance and the satisfaction of our customers. SAMPE's Seattle Chapter hosted the November conference in downtown Seattle at the Westin Hotel. Starting off with six tutorials, the conference featured five concurrent sessions of presentations and over 60 exhibitors, which filled the hotel ballroom. In all, over 150 technical presentations were made to an attendance exceeding 700.As the Keynote speaker, John Roundhill, Vice President-Marketing for Boeing's proposed "Sonic Cruiser," discussed factors that are driving the growth of long-range air travel. John Roundhill presented Boeing's proposed newest airplane, the "Sonic Cruiser" discussing global trends that are directing the future of the aviation business and other industries, passenger choice and its effects on air travel, and emerging products and technologies.
