BHP Billiton’s iron ore productionramp-up in Western Australia stalledslightly in the October-December quarter,with output of 61.4 million mt, down 1.6%from the previous September quarter.Production from BHP’s Jimblebar minein the Pilbara fell to 2.8 million mt in theDecember quarter, from almost 4 millionmt in the September quarter. However,output from the Wheelarra mine in thesame region increased to 4.7 million mt,from 3.1 million mt over the same period.
