摘要

Nitrogen is found to be deficient in most of the Indian soils (Arakeri et al. 1956). An adequate supply of nitrogen is extremely helpful (Jones and Embleton, 1965). Similarly, deficiency of zinc occurs under varied soil connection. In Rajasthan, soilof Jaipur, Ajmer and Udaipur districts are alkaline in nature and characterized by high pH ranging from 8.0 to 9.0. Due to this, the Nitrogen and Zinc are unavailable to the plants if directly applied in the soil. Whereas, foliar application through spray may correct the related deficiencies (Kanwar and Randhawa, 1974). In present investigation nitrogen and zinc were applied in combination in cauliflower crop particular emphasis on the economic viability of different combinations of nitrogen and zinc.
