摘要

Two months old seedlings of 64 mango germplasm were planted in pots filled with river sand and treated with 4.5 dSm~(-1) (NaCl and Na2S04) applied daily by irrigation in combination with Hoagland nutrient solution. Six germplasm which tolerant the salt concentration of 4.5 dSm~(-1) were further tested for various salt concentrations i.e., 0.0, 4.5, 7.5 and 9.0 dSm~(-1). Results showed that Na accumulation was greater in roots in comparison to leaves and stem of seedlings while Cl accumulation was greater in leaves in comparison to stem and roots of seedlings of all germplasm. Out of six cultivars, seedlings of Hybrid 15/1 were found the most tolerant to salts.
